The idea of an outward opening window is developed in Scandinavian countries in harsh climate conditions: in Denmark and in Norway such windows have been the main solution in building practice.
Viking21 window provides traditiona Scandinavian window design with the option to choose between 2-glazing or 3-glazing.

Inward opening (also knonw as tilt-and-turn) windows are traditional to Central Europe. Viking DK13-3k Window is a solid wooden window with the 78 mm profile system and a glazing unit with two low-E and one regular glass, Argon filled cavities and the total thickness of 40 mm. For the warm edge solution it is recommended to use SGG Swisspacer spacer bars as a warm edge solution.

Vertical Sliding Sash Window (2-glazing)
Viking sliding sash window design, ensures that windows have good weather performance even in stormy days. Upon opening the window the sashes are separated, thus avoiding wear on the weather strip . On closing the window the sashes are being pressed against the weather strip, making the window shut very tight.

SW14 EI30/EI60 Fireguard Window
SW14 wooden window represents a unique Nordic design of high energy efficient windows. Window profiles are protected by International Registration of Industrial Designs no DM/083922. Due to unique construction SW14 is a prefect choice to develop fire rated windows and glazed wall elements.

DK88 Fireguard Window
Viking DK88 EI30 Openable Fireguard Window is an openable fire protection window.
3-glazed energy efficient window conforms to the fire resistance class EI30: it is resistant to fire for at least 30 minutes; it also serves as a heat insulator, so that the average temperature of the surface on the opposite side of the fire will not exceed 140°C. The fireguard window has been given the EI30 classification in accordance with the EN 16034:2014 standard (download certificate – pdf).
